Cutting wedding cakes is usually done by the reception site or the caterer. (Make sure you ask the caterer or event planner to see if they do cut the cake) If the wedding party is taking on this task you might want to print this for them.
Wedding cake slices are typically two inches deep by one inch wide and two layers tall. The top cake is the Anniversary cake and is usually not served at the reception. (we don't include it in the number of servings and it is FREE) The anniversary cake is removed and placed into the supplied box. We recommend that separated cakes be taken apart prior to cutting. Stacked cakes can be cut tier by tier but if the tiers are different flavors it should be taken apart and cut to allow guests to choose their flavor.

Round Tiers:

Two inches from the outer edge; cut a circle and then slice 1 inch wide pieces around the outside. Now move in another 2 in., cut another circle, slice 1 in. pieces and so on until the tier is completely cut. The center of each tier and the small top tier can be cut into 1/2ths, 4ths, 6ths, and 8ths, depending on size.
Square Tiers:

Two inches in from one side cut the length of the cake, then slice 1 in. pieces of cake from the side. Now move in another 2 in. and slice again until the entire tier is cut.
Heart Tiers:

Cut the cake in 1/2, then cut the halves in half, etc... Within rows, slice 1 in. pieces of cake.
Oval Tiers:
